Class O lacquered, solid timber acoustic baffles were installed across the reception area to add a stunning look to the focal point of the project. Utilising Acoustic Joinery’s fully tested ‘Echofade’ Baffles system; 32mm x 44mm solid american white oak baffles were manufactured and installed as an alternative to Dalheim Ribba System. -
Sheffield Engineering Graduate School – Graham Construction
American White Oak Veneered acoustic panels were supplied to the main auditorium and across a number of lecture rooms. The panels supplied and installed for the scheme, not only reduced the reverberation times within the teaching spaces but they provided a stunning visual finish supplemented by their solid AW Oak trim. All panels and trims were treated with a class O lacquered finish. -
Stoke CBD Offices – Laing O’Rourke
A complete bespoke panelling system was supplied and fixed to the new council chamber offices. Slotted book matched Maple Veneer panels were chosen from the Echofade range, to achieve a Class B absorption rating within the room. The design incorporated an aluminium shadow gap detail between all the panel junctions and solid maple trims at all abutments. -
Saffron Waldron School – ISG
This project involved the supply of approximately 600m2 of acoustic panelling. Two types of panels were provided to the project. The Music Room saw the supply and installation of fully tested ‘Echofade’ panels in AW Oak Veneer which were approved for the scheme as an equal alternative to the Gustaf System. Class O treated BB Grade Birch Plywood panels were supplied to the Main Auditorium. -
Loughborough University Olympic Park - Parogon Interiors
Acoustic Joinery were commissioned to supply and install approximately 450m2 of Echofade, Class O lacquered, solid ash timber baffles. This system was supplied and installed across two raked lecture theatres, main circulation areas and the ground floor atrium which featured a hexagonal themed wall. The former Olympic Park Media Centre was being refurbished to form a major new development for Loughborough University -
University Of Birmingham – Willmott Dixon
This project involved the supply and installation of 32mm x 44mm acoustic baffles to a feature wall and servery. Class O lacquered solid american white oak Baffles were supplied to the Main Restaurant Area and underneath the 2 staircases.The Echofade Baffles were chosen for the scheme due to their acoustic absorption properties and to provide an aesthetic division to the ground floor area.
